To Our LRSS Bible Study Facilitators:
What Can We Do for You?

As our 50th anniversary year comes to a close, we are full of gratitude for our dedicated LRSS facilitators. How can we support your ministry now and into the future?

Dear LRSS Community,

One of the best parts of my job is speaking regularly with LRSS facilitators around the country. Some have been facilitating Bible study for decades. Some are just beginning the adventure. I love to hear about their experiences and gather their invaluable feedback on our resources. I admire their love of God’s Word and their deep desire to break that Word wide open with others.

Let’s face it: without facilitators, there wouldn’t be group Bible study. Someone has to answer the call—the call to do everything from practical logistics (planning, communicating, organizing) to hands-on ministry (welcoming, facilitating, problem-solving). All of this requires wisdom, patience, and a good dose of grit.

So to all of our facilitators out there: all of us here at Little Rock Scripture Study and Liturgical Press salute you! And we are here for you. We are aware of many of the challenges you face—tight budgets, busy schedules, and polarized communities, to name a few. You are not alone. We hear you, and we want to help.

What can we do to support your ministry and help you plan for the future? Are there resources you would find helpful that we can provide (how-to guides, Scripture resources, training videos)? Would you like to be in touch with other facilitators to share ideas, learn best practices, provide or receive mentoring? Do you have ideas for new Bible study topics your group is interested in?

Little Rock Scripture Study has always been more than books and lectures. We are a community of people around the world who are committed to praying, learning, and sharing together as we unpack the riches of God’s Word. This community has thrived for 50 amazing years, and we are committed to supporting its future in your parishes, your homes, and your small groups.

As always, you can reach me at aekeh001@litpress.org or 320-363-2081. It is my privilege to support your ministry and to ensure that LRSS is providing you with the resources you need. You are on the ground and at the ready. We want to be there with you.

Thank you all for celebrating 50 Years of Catholic Bible Study with us. Here’s to the next 50 years!

Amy

A Bible makes a great gift

As you’re drawing up your Christmas list, consider giving the gift of God’s Word. The Little Rock Catholic Study Bible (available in paperback, hardcover, or deluxe edition) is a gift that lasts a lifetime. One reviewer said, “I will be immersing myself in this for years.”
